Ultrasonic immersion cleaning

TECHNICAL DATA SHEET

In ultrasonic degreasing operations, a mechanical effect will be provided by ultrasound. The mechanical effect will reduce the concentration and/or time. Ultrasound is a sound that vibrates at a frequency greater than 16000 Hz. The ultrasound emitted by transducers fixed on the walls and the bottom of the degreasing tank cause the formation of many micro-bubbles of vacuum which will grow, reach their maximum and brutally implode. The considerable energy thus released in contact with the piece makes it possible to quickly detach the dirt in every nook and cranny. This phenomenon is called cavitation. Ultrasound is emitted by piezoelectric transducers. It is necessary to have at least 10 Watt per liter of bath.
