CAS : 7440-31-5 / EINECS : 231-141-8 : Tin
CAS : 7439-92-1 / EINECS : 231-100-4 : Lead
Chemical symbol : Sn/Pb
Alloys : 60/40 – 63/37 – 90/10
Dimensions : we are offering flat and corrugated oval tin lead anodes.
Product description : our oval (elliptic) tin/lead anodes are made from primary tin and lead ingots, i.e. from “non-recycled” raw material. With our know-how and innovative manufacturing process, we are providing anodes without dross or oxidation. The corrugated anode greatly increase the anodic surface area compared to a flat anode. The area factor is around 1.4.
We can take care of the drilling of the anodes upon request.
Uses : oval tin lead anodes are used in methanesulfonic acid and tetrafluoborate baths. The main uses are in traditional electroplating for electronic industry in military (weapons) and aeronautics fields. A polypropylene bag placed directly over the tin lead anode is recommended for filtration.
Packaging : on pallet
Availability : upon request
Safety/MSDS : for industrial use only.
