Product description : our tin caps are made from primary tin, i.e. from “non-recycled” raw material. This shape has been specially designed for surface treatment in order to increase the anodic surface, to avoid the “bridging” effect and to slide evenly in the bottom of the titanium baskets until it is completely dissolved. Tin dome caps are particularly suitable for narrow titanium baskets used for reel to reel process. The packing density is 5 kg per dm3.
Uses : tin caps are used as anodes in methanesulfonic acid baths. The main use is reel to reel tin plating. They are placed in rectangular titanium baskets with a funnel to optimize filling. An anode bag is recommended for filtration.
Packaging : 20 kg steel drums, 14kg plastic drums and 10 or 15kg cartons (other types of packaging available upon request).
