Purity : zinc oval anodes (elliptical) are made from high-purity SHG (Super High Grade) zinc > 99.995%. The very low impurity content guarantees a high-quality zinc plating.

Dimensions : the cross-section of the elliptical zinc anodes is 80 x 40mm. The maximum length is 1800mm. The weight of the anodes is about 10kg per meter.

Product description : the elliptic zinc anodes have grooves which allow to increase the anodic surface with a coefficient of about 1,3.

The anodes can be delivered with the zinc head acting as a hook. Thanks to our unique attachment system on the support bar, maintenance is greatly facilitated. Contact us to study the feasibility.

They can also be supplied without the head. We can then drill and tap the anodes in order to fix a hook.

Uses : the corrugated elliptic zinc anodes are particularly suitable for barrel plating, and generally for baths working with a high voltage.

They are therefore mainly used in acid baths based on zinc chloride, potassium chloride or ammonium chloride, and in baths with zinc sulphate.

They are also suitable for cyanide baths containing sodium cyanide, zinc oxide or zinc cyanide.

It is recommended to use an anode bag to improve filtration.
