Product description : 1×1 cobalt squares are cut in high purity cobalt cathodes. the cathodes are themselves produced by an electrolytic process.
Uses : cobalt squares are used as cobalt anode for electroplating. They are placed in titanium baskets and then in cobalt sulphate or cobalt sulfamate baths. They can also be placed with nickel anodes for nickel/cobalt deposits.
Cobalt squares can also be used in smelting, to make cobalt containing alloys. The low unit weight allows precise determination of the quantities of cobalt to be used.
